The Roskachestvo publishes the first Wine Guide

Experts from the Roskachestvo (Russian Quality System) organization are ready to edit the Russian wine guide
March 30, 2018

For the first time, economic operators will have at their disposal a guide, or rather a real map, of the wine produced in Russia. The name does not conceal claims: “Guida 2018” but the edition has two merits: the first merit is the absolute novelty. There was no such guide (and there is not yet, because the edition was only announced). The second merit derives from the author, the Roskachestvo, that is the certification of the quality of the Federation, which will guarantee the presence of the manufacturing companies that have undergone the checks and have therefore obtained the Russian quality mark a “k” inscribed in a pentagon.

The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Viktor Evtuhova, outlined its main features. “The project, already elaborated in detail on the basis of different international experiences, has the ambition to promote national wine by providing certified information to Russian citizens about the quality and safety of the product”.
The guide will be on the oenological portal of Russia and will offer the mapping of about 1000 cellars. The Russian quality system (Roskachestvo) was established by government decree in 2015, certifies the quality of products on the shelves of Russian stores, publishes in a special “black list” all non-compliant products and attributes the “Quality Mark” “to those who respect all the quality parameters established by the provisions in force in the Federation.
